Care instructions of cashmere products

Balmuir 100 % cashmere products are made from the finest Inner Mongolian cashmere. Cashmere wool is sheared from the goats, the animal is not harmed in the process. The higher the animal lives, the finer the cashmere. Goats living in the Inner Mongolian have a thick undercoat that provides a very fine quality cashmere.

To keep your cashmere products beautiful and long-lasting, Balmuir recommends to air them and give them time to rest regularly. You can carefully handwash cashmere products in lukewarm water.

Care instructions:

• Air the product regularly and give it time to rest.

• Store your product folded instead of hanging.

• To maintain the fluffy surface, you can lightly brush the surface with a clothes brush. Avoid using a cashmere comb or mohair brush. You can remove excessive pilling carefully by hand.

• Protect your cashmere product from moths or other pests by putting a small piece of cedar wood in the wardrobe.

• Store the cleaned cashmere product in breathable cotton garment bag. We recommend dry cleaning for stain removal.

• Wash the product only when necessary. We recommend dry cleaning for stain removal.

• You can carefully steam the surface with low a low temperature but avoid touching the product directly with an iron.
