Christmas Party Treats at Home

Seeded Oat Cakes
Ingredients
50g butter
100g oatmeal
100g plain flour, plus extra for dusting
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
½ tsp salt
6-7 tbsp boiling water
2 tsp flax seed
2 tbsp sesame seed
Heat oven to 200°C.
Melt the butter and allow it to cool slightly.
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl, then pour in the butter.
Add 6-7 tbsp boiling water to make a firm dough.
Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface, then roll out until about 0,5cm thick. Cut into small squares.
Bake for 12-15 mins until golden. Leave to cool for a few mins, then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
Serve with a selection of your favourite cheeses and jams.
Christmas Forest Cocktails
Ingredients - Makes 2 cocktails
12 redcurrants
8 blueberries
4 blackberries
2 sprigs of rosemary
4 lime wedges
ice
juice of 1/2 lime
8cl simple syrup
8cl vodka
ginger ale
Divide the berries, rosemary and limes in two glasses.
Muddle well and fill glasses with ice.
Add simple syrup and vodka and stir well.
Top with ginger ale.
